ARTIST STATEMENT

Everyone goes through life changing events that will define them. My photographs speak to those people and let them know they are not alone. They remind the viewer to push through the hard times and that better times are just around the corner. Life and death are always happening around us and we must learn to embrace this. This is a hard concept for us as humans to truly comprehend and acknowledge. However, it is just a part of life, that needs to be talked about more. My photographs are meant to start these tough conversations and explore subjects that are often overlooked.
